CUBES

Twenty-seven rooms, each built by hand as a miniature set. CUBES gathers them in a single volume, told like a film in three chapters – The House, held together by water; The Clock, split by a crack; The Space Station, with a burning sun at its core. Construction drawings, coordinate grids and an inventory of the objects made for the sets accompany the images, and the closing pages open the workshop to reveal the slow, devoted assembly behind every room – down to the smallest detail.
